How to Play the Shillong Teer Lottery
- The Shillong Teer lottery, a unique fusion of chance and archery skills, comprises two rounds of archery:
- In the first round, archers shoot 30 arrows within a two-minute timeframe.
- The second round sees them release another 20 arrows.
- Participants select a number between 0 and 99, predicting the number of arrows striking the target in each round.
- The participant whose guess aligns most closely with the actual number of hits wins the round.
Tickets, available from authorised sellers, range in price from Rs 1 to Rs 50. Cash prizes are awarded based on the accuracy of predictions and the total stake.
For a Rs 1 bet, correctly predicting the first round’s result earns Rs 80, while accurately guessing the second round yields Rs 60. A Rs 1 bet correctly predicting both rounds can garner up to Rs 4,000.
