Diwali 2024: The festival of Diwali also brings with it the signs of changing weather…with Diwali, the hot weather says goodbye and the rosy winter knocks. But recently the Diwali season starts another phase in the capital Delhi…and that is of pollution. The smoke emanating from firecrackers makes the air of Delhi generally very bad. But this time either it was a miracle of the strong wind or people burnt less firecrackers that the air in Delhi did not become as bad till late evening as expected. The real picture will be known the next day, but on 30th October i.e. yesterday and today at the same time, we took stock of some areas of Delhi to see how the air is there a day before Diwali and on the evening of Diwali. So let’s see what we found.
