Congress has complained to the Election Commission claiming EVM malfunction in Haryana elections. Congress leader Pawan Kheda said on Saturday that irregularities were found in EVMs during the counting of votes on 20 seats. Candidates for these seats have filed written and oral complaints. Now the party has sent their list to the Election Commission.

Kheda said, it is strange that Congress candidates have lost on the same seats where the machines had 99% battery charge. At the same time, the machines with 60-70% battery charge are the ones on which Congress candidates have won. On the day of counting, some machines were 99% charged and the rest of the normal machines were 60-70% charged. Our demand is that those machines should be kept sealed and safe until the investigation is completed.

At the same time, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that we are going to hold a meeting and a report will also be prepared. After this it will become clear what should be done and what happened. The whole country was saying that Congress would win. BJP leaders were also saying the same thing. When everyone was talking about Congress’s victory, then what was the reason that Congress lost there.

The names of these seats are included in the complaint – The 20 seats where EVM malfunction occurred in Haryana Assembly elections include Narnaul, Karnal, Dabwali, Rewari, Hodal, Kalka, Panipat City, Indri, Badkhal, Faridabad NIT, Nalwa, Rania, Pataudi (SC), Palwal, Ballabhgarh, Barwala, Uchana Kalan, Gharaunda, Kosli and Badshahpur are included.

Jairam Ramesh said- Hopefully the Election Commission will take action Congress leader Jairam Ramesh wrote on social media platform X that on October 9, senior leaders of the Congress party had complained to the Election Commission. Taking this forward, the list has been sent today. It is expected that the Commission will definitely take action on this issue.

Jairam Ramesh, Pawan Kheda, KC Venugopal, Bhupendra Singh Hooda, Ashok Gehlot, Pratap Singh Bajwa, Ajay Maken and Uday Bhan had met the Election Commission on Wednesday and expressed their concerns regarding the Haryana elections.
