Sensex gains more than 100 points: It is trading at 83,000, shares of 3 companies will be listed in the market today

The stock market is witnessing a rise today i.e. on 16th September. Sensex is trading at the level of 83,000 with a gain of more than 100 points. Nifty is also up by about 50 points. It is trading at the level of 25,400.

Today, shares of 3 companies will be listed in the market. These include Bajaj Housing Finance Limited, Cross Limited and Tolins Tyres Limited. The IPOs of these three companies were open from 9 to 11 September.

Japan’s Nikkei fell 0.68%

  • In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei has fallen by 0.68%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng has fallen by 0.18% and China’s Shanghai Composite has fallen by 0.48%. Whereas Korea’s Kospi has risen by 0.13%.
  • On September 13, the US market Dow Jones closed at 41,393 with a gain of 0.72%. Nasdaq closed at 5,626 with a gain of 0.65% and S&P500 closed at 5,626 with a gain of 0.54%.

IPOs of 2 companies will open from today

Two Initial Public Offers (IPOs) will open for listing in the stock market from today (16 September). These include Arcade Developers Limited and Northern Arc Capital Limited. Investors will be able to bid for both the IPOs till 19 September. The shares of these two companies will be listed in the market on 24 September. Read full news

There was a decline in the market on Friday

Earlier last week, on 13 September (Friday), the Sensex closed at 82,890 with a fall of 71 points. At the same time, the Nifty also fell by 32 points, it closed at 25,356.
