Sensex gains more than 400 points: Nifty also gains 140 points, stocks of all sectors rise

The stock market is bullish today i.e. on September 12. The Sensex is trading at the level of 81,950 with a gain of more than 400 points.

Nifty is also up by 140 points, it is trading at the level of 25,060. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 19 are up and 11 are down. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 39 are up and 11 are down.

Most Asian markets up

  • In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei is up 2.77% and Korea’s Kospi is up 1.55%. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is up 0.91% and China’s Shanghai Composite is down 0.11%.
  • On September 11, the Dow Jones of the US market rose 0.31% and closed at 40,861. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq rose 2.17% and closed at 17,395. The S&P500 closed at 5,554 with a gain of 1.07%.
  • According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹1,755.00 crore on September 11. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) also bought shares worth ₹230.90 crore.

Last day to bid for PN Gadgil Jewelers IPO

Today is the last day to bid for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of PN Gadgil Jewelers Limited. This IPO opened on 10 September. In two days, the IPO of PN Gadgil Jewelers has been subscribed a total of 7.11 times.

The IPO was subscribed 7.28 times in the retail category, 0.10 times in qualified institutional buyers (QIB) and 16.09 times in the non-institutional investors (NII) category. There was a decline in the market yesterday

Earlier, yesterday, i.e. on 11th September, there was a decline in the stock market. Sensex closed at 81,523 with a decline of 398 points. Nifty also fell by 122 points and closed at 24,918.

Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 20 fell and 10 rose. Out of the 50 Nifty stocks, 34 fell and 16 rose. There was selling in all sectoral stocks except Nifty FMCG.
