Students appearing for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2027 are still waiting for the date sheet. The board released the 2026 exam schedule in September, but now, October is almost over and the timetable for the upcoming exams has not yet been announced. The delay has left many students and parents anxious, as the absence of a fixed schedule makes it harder to plan revision.
The CBSE Class 10 and 12 date sheets for 2027 are expected to be released soon. The board exams are expected to take place between February and April 2027, while practical exams are scheduled to begin in January. With only a few months left, students should focus on completing their syllabus and preparing for the final revision.
Once released, the date sheet PDF will be available on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.
Why is the CBSE Board Exam 2027 date sheet delayed?
Last year, CBSE released the tentative board exam date sheet by the end of September, and the final one by October-end, giving schools and students around four to five months to prepare. However, the 2027 schedule has not been announced yet.
Changes to the academic framework, a review of subject combinations and arrangements for exam centres may be among the factors affecting the timeline. The board also needs to plan the schedule to provide students with sufficient gaps between exams.
