Last time the Under-19 Asia Cup was won by Pakistan. The team had defeated India by 191 runs.
Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has released the schedule of Under-19 Asia Cup 2026. The tournament will begin in Oman from November 5 and the final will be played on November 14. This time 8 teams will contest for the title and all the matches will be played on Ground-1 and Ground-2 of Oman Cricket Academy (OCA) located in Muscat.
India will start its campaign against Nepal on 6 November. Two days after this, there will be a match with Pakistan on 8th November. India’s last match in the group stage will be against UAE on November 10.
The tournament will be held in 50-over format and a total of 15 matches will be played. India has been placed in Group A along with Pakistan, UAE and Nepal. Whereas Group-B includes Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.

Starting from Sri Lanka-Malaysia on 5th November
The first match of the tournament will be held on November 5 between Sri Lanka U-19 and Malaysia U-19. On the same day, the teams of Bangladesh and Afghanistan will also face each other in Group B.
Both the matches will start at 10:30 am. Sri Lanka-Malaysia match will be played at OCA Ground-2 and Bangladesh-Afghanistan match at OCA Ground-1.

Pakistan had defeated India last time
Pakistan is the current champion. In last season’s final, Pakistan won the title by defeating India by 191 runs. This was Pakistan’s second title in the Under-19 Asia Cup.

In the final against India, Pakistan’s opener Sameer Minhas played an inning of 172 runs on 113 balls.
India won the Under-19 Cup 8 times
India has won 8 Under-19 Asia Cup titles in 1989, 2003, 2012, 2013-14, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2021. In 2012, India and Pakistan were joint winners. Bangladesh won two consecutive titles in 2023 and 2024, while Afghanistan became champions for the first time in 2017.
