Eligible students pursuing graduation, postgraduation, diploma, ITI and other qualifying courses can apply through the official UP Scholarship portal at scholarship.up.gov.in.
The application window for the Dashmottar category opened on September 15, 2026. Students applying for renewal must submit their applications by October 15, while the deadline for fresh applicants is October 31, 2026.
UP Scholarship 2026-27: Who Can Apply?
The Uttar Pradesh scholarship scheme covers students at different levels of education. The major categories include Pre-Matric, Post-Matric Intermediate and Post-Matric Other Than Intermediate, also known as Dashmottar.
The Dashmottar category covers students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, ITI and other eligible courses.
Eligible students belonging to General, OBC, SC, ST and minority communities can apply, subject to the eligibility conditions prescribed for their respective scholarship category.
