Train travel in Bihar will become even more comfortable in the coming days. The trial of the new railway bridge built at Mokama on river Ganga has been completed, which has created a new connection between North and South Bihar. A video of this has been shared by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on social media. With the construction of this bridge, the train journey will become shorter. The new bridge, built at a cost of approximately Rs 2400 crore, has been built parallel to the old Rajendra Setu. According to the Railways, after the completion of the project, the rail traffic capacity in this area can increase by approximately 2.5 times as per estimates. This will also improve connectivity with north-eastern parts.
