The administration has become completely alert regarding the proposed protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Meanwhile, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has closed the entry and exit of 11 stations. A demonstration has been called by activists, leaders of political parties and representatives of civil society to protest against the Special Intensive Review (SIR) and demand accountability from the Chief Election Commissioner. In view of this, prohibitory orders have been imposed in New Delhi district and heavy police force has been deployed in many areas. Besides, special arrangements have also been implemented regarding traffic and metro services.
