There has been a demand to ban the release of Ajay Devgan starrer film ‘Drishyam 3: The Conclusion’. M/s Rajkumar Theater Private Limited has filed a petition in the Madras High Court against M/s Wide Angle Creations, demanding an immediate ban on the worldwide release and distribution of the film.
The company alleges that making the Hindi version of the film without their approval is a violation of copyright rules. However, Madras High Court has postponed the hearing of the case.
Despite the case being pending in the court, advance booking of the film is going on at a fast pace. The film will be released in theaters on 2 October 2026.

If block seats are removed then this figure is Rs 12.21 crore. So far, around 4.77 lakh tickets have been sold for 21,281 shows. 24 shows of the film have been completely housefull.
According to trade analysts, advance booking figures are quite strong in the major markets of the country. According to initial estimates, the film may collect a net collection of more than Rs 40 crore on the first day in India.

Story of ‘Drishyam’
Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Drishyam’ was released on 31 July 2015. Directed by Nishikant Kamat, this film was the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film ‘Drishyam’. Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta and Mrinal Jadhav were seen in lead roles along with Ajay Devgan in the film.

The story begins 7 years after the events of the first film. Vijay Salgaonkar is now richer than before. He has his own cinema hall and is dreaming of making films. However, the mystery of Sam’s death still remains a source of fear for his family.
The big twist in the story comes when the police finds a new witness. He claims that he saw Vijay near the police station on the night of the incident. After this, the case of Sam’s death is reopened.

This time the responsibility of investigation falls to IG Tarun Ahlawat. Tarun playing the character of Akshay Khanna is a very clever police officer. He makes a concrete plan to trap Vijay and his family.
The police also recover Sam’s skeleton from the courtyard of Vijay’s house. The forensic report also goes against the family. Vijay is arrested and it seems that his escape is now difficult.
But Vijay once again uses his wisdom and the knowledge he has learned from films. He presents such evidence in the court, which proves that the skeleton found by the police is not that of Sam, but of someone else. In the end Vijay once again saves his family.
