A fresh video allegedly showing a minor girl being harassed at the Mandar Parvat tourist site in Banka surfaced online on Friday, days after the Jamui and Samastipur incidents, making it the third such incident reported in Bihar in a week.
In the video, some of the boys were seen harassing and assaulting the girl at the tourist site.

‘When Will These Beasts From Banka Be Caught?’
“After Jamui and Samastipur, now a video of the exploitation, indecent behaviour, and assault of a minor girl at the historic tourist site Mandar Parvat in “Banka” has gone viral!” Yadav said.
“Law and order in Bihar is on its deathbed!” Tejashwi also questioned the state government’s handling of the earlier cases, asking, “What happened to the remaining five accused in the Jamui case?” and “Did the four accused in the Samastipur case get half punishment or full, or were they let off based on some equation?” he added.
Targeting the state government, Tejashwi said, “When will these beasts from Banka be caught?”
He further alleged that the Chief Minister decides the priority of justice and punishment based on the caste identity of accused persons. “Will this seventh-fail caste expert” Chief Minister also react after looking at their Reels and caste?” he asked.
Third Such Case In A Week
The latest development follows a series of incidents involving alleged harassment of minor girls in Bihar.
In Darbhanga, a girl was allegedly molested in Keeratpur village on Monday after two motorcycle-borne men attempted to snatch her dupatta while she was on her way to school, according to a police statement. The girl raised an alarm, following which passersby tried to catch the accused, but the two fled from the spot.
Police subsequently traced both accused “within five hours of the incident”. A case was registered at Jamalpur police station under the POCSO Act and relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
The 19-year-old accused was sent to jail after being produced before a court, while his minor co-accused was presented before the juvenile justice board.
In Jamui, a teenage girl and a boy, who were reportedly studying at the same coaching centre, were allegedly stopped and harassed by a group on a road on September 19.
Videos purportedly showing the girl being molested subsequently circulated on social media.
Bihar Police said two key accused were arrested after an encounter on Tuesday in which both sustained injuries. The number of arrests in the case has since risen to five, including three minors.
