Alert- Banned food items available online: FSSAI action on 5 online platforms including Amazon-Flipkart; accused of misleading people

If you also order food items through mobile app, then be careful. Government agency FSSAI has started legal action against 5 big companies like Amazon, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, Flipkart and Zepto.

These companies are accused of giving wrong information on the app, making false claims and selling goods that are harmful to health or banned. At present, the process of investigation against the companies has started, punishment or fine will be decided later.
