Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has said about Chhath Puja that she did not know much about this festival. But when she shot her new song ‘Chhathi Maiya’, she became emotional.
At the trailer launch event of the film ‘Vvan’, Tamannaah said that she grew up in Mumbai. While she used to see the Chhath Puja crowd at Juhu Beach, she did not know much about the traditions of this festival. During the shooting, he came to know that it involved a strict waterless fast of 36 hours.

Talking to the media, Tamannaah Bhatia said that nowadays people talk a lot about gratitude and manifestation. This is a very beautiful part of Bihari culture.
Usually everyone salutes the rising sun, but in Chhath Puja, the setting sun is also given equal respect and importance.
The actress told that when she was shooting the sequence of this song, she automatically had tears in her eyes.

Know about 36 hour Nirjala fast
Sharing her experience, Tamanna said that she has been living in Mumbai since childhood. She used to see a large number of people gathering at Juhu beach on the occasion of Chhath, but was not aware of the rules behind it. During the shooting of this song, he came to know that people observe a strict fast for 36 hours without drinking water to worship the Goddess. He said that as an artist he is just a medium and some feelings are beyond our control.
Siddharth-Tamanna’s first film together
Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia are sharing the screen together for the first time through the film ‘One’. Tamanna said that there are many folk tales in the country, which require courage, clarity and vision to bring them on the big screen.
She considers herself lucky to be a part of this song. She said that in the coming years, whenever she sees someone celebrating Chhath, this song will definitely play in her mind.

Will be released in theaters on 25th September
Director Deepak Kumar Mishra, who is known for the ‘Panchayat’ series, has directed this film. The film is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms.
Apart from Siddharth and Tamanna, the film’s star cast includes Manish Paul, Shweta Tiwari, Sunil Grover and Anoop Soni in lead roles. This fantasy and folklore based film will be released on the big screen on September 25.
