The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the CSIR UGC NET June 2026 result, allowing candidates who appeared for the examination to check their scores and ranks online. A total of 1,87,739 candidates registered for the examination, of whom 1,50,057 appeared. Candidates can now access their individual scorecards through the official CSIR UGC NET website at csirnet.nta.nic.in.

“The Result and Rank of Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 have been uploaded on https://csirnet.nta.nic.in/. Candidates who appeared for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 can view/download/print their Score Card from the NTA website. For further clarification related to Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 the candidates can also contact 011-40759000/011-69227700 or email at csirnet@nta.ac.in,” states the official notice by NTA.

The NTA had earlier released the answer key on August 29.

How To Check CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Result

Candidates can follow these steps to download their scorecards:

Step 1 – Visit the official website, csirnet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2 – Click on the link for the CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 Result/Score Card.

Step 3 – Enter the required login details.

Step 4 – Submit the details to view the result.

Step 5 – Check the score and rank displayed on the screen.

Step 6 – Download the scorecard and take a printout for future reference.

The CSIR UGC NET June 2026 examination was conducted by the NTA on July 17 and 18, 2026 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The examination covered five subjects: Life Sciences; Chemical Sciences; Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences; Mathematical Sciences; and Physical Sciences. The test was held across 224 cities in the country.

Female candidates outnumbered male candidates in the June 2026 examination. Of the 1,11,274 women who registered, 90,380 appeared for the examination. Among the 76,463 male candidates registered, 59,675 took the test. Two candidates from the third-gender category also registered for the examination, and both appeared.

With the result now available, candidates who qualify will be able to proceed with the next stages associated with the CSIR UGC NET, depending on the category and eligibility under which they have qualified.
