Sikh activist Parmjit Singh Pamma has rejected death threats allegedly contained in a leaked audio recording and challenged those behind the threats.
Pamma addressed a leaked audio recording dated July 12 and said he would not be intimidated by threats against him. He also criticised what he described as extortion tactics, calling them acts of cowardice rather than a display of strength.
Pamma Country Tribute To Nijjar
In his response, Pamma paid tribute to Hardeep Singh Nijjar and honoured his memory, describing him as a martyr for the Sikh community and Khalsa Raj.
Pamma also warned those he holds responsible for Nijjar’s death, saying their actions had brought lasting dishonour upon themselves and their families.
He insisted that deadline-based threats would not force him to back down. Pamma further said that people who have been targeted by international investigations would ultimately face consequences.
The remarks came in response to the leaked July 12 audio recording, in which threats against Pamma were allegedly made.
Challenges Rivals Over Threats
Pamma used his response to challenge his opponents, while dismissing the threats against him. He criticised the use of threats and alleged extortion as a means of intimidation, arguing that such tactics reflected cowardice rather than genuine strength.

His comments also linked the threats to the wider dispute surrounding Nijjar’s death, as he accused those responsible of bringing dishonour upon themselves and their families.
What Indian Intelligence Sources Say
According to top Indian intelligence sources, Parmjit Singh Pamma has been designated a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and is on the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) most-wanted list for allegedly orchestrating anti-India activities from abroad.
Pamma’s alleged activities date back to his involvement in Pakistan during the 1990s, where he initially worked as a fundraiser for Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) under Wadhawa Singh, according to the sources.
He later shifted his operational loyalty to the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF), alongside Jagtar Singh Tara and the late Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
Security agencies have held Pamma responsible for several key acts of violence in Punjab, including the alleged masterminding of the 2009 assassination of Rashtriya Sikh Sangat head Rulda Singh.
He has also been accused of orchestrating twin bomb blasts in Patiala and Ambala in 2010.
Pamma’s latest comments come as he responds to the leaked audio and the threats allegedly directed at him. He has rejected the intimidation and issued a counter-challenge to those behind the threats, while continuing to invoke Nijjar’s memory and the wider Khalistan-linked dispute.
