This young man also had a liquor party in Bhavnagar on the night of 16th August. After drinking alcohol, Sanjay returned to Surat at night itself. By morning his condition had become very critical. He was admitted to INS Hospital in Surat. Sanjay was on ventilator for the last three days. Sanjay suffered a heart attack on Thursday night and was declared brain dead this morning. 25 people admitted in hospitals, condition of 5 is critical. 25 people are still admitted in different hospitals in Bhavnagar, out of which the condition of 5 is critical. In such a situation, there is a possibility of the death toll increasing. The victims had consumed liquor on the night of 16th August. The case started from Kharkadi village of Ghogha on the night of 16th August. Here a young man had organized a liquor party to celebrate his joining the police. According to the police, the liquor was taken from a smuggler named Ghanshyam. It was given in foreign liquor bottles. After the party people’s health started deteriorating. The condition of some people deteriorated so rapidly that there was not even time to take them to the hospital. Three youths of Bhavnagar had died while vomiting at home. Local people claim that this liquor has reached many villages. The next day, similar cases were reported from other areas also. Gujarat Police is considering three people mainly responsible for the liquor scandal. Among them, Raees and Zuber are from Ujjain. The third accused is Gautam Solanki of Bhavnagar. According to the police, the three used to mix methyl alcohol locally in the smuggled liquor. Doctor who made liquor also died, 15 arrested so far. Gujarat Police has so far arrested 15 accused in this case. Of these, 13 are residents of Bhavnagar. All of them are linked to illegal liquor smuggling. At the same time, the main accused in the liquor scandal, Raees and Zubair, are residents of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. These days also he has been arrested. Narendra of Morena was an expert in making liquor. During the investigation, the role of Morena resident Narendra Yadav alias ‘Doctor’ has also come to light. According to the police, Raees knew that Narendra Yadav was an expert in making illicit liquor. That’s why he called Narendra to Gujarat. Both of them had joined hands with local liquor smuggler Gautam Solanki of Bhavnagar. Three days before the liquor scandal, Narendra and his associates had prepared 25 boxes of poisonous liquor. People lost their lives because of drinking this alcohol. The irony was that Narendra himself drank the same liquor, due to which he also died. 13 boxes missing, alert in 1000 villages. Initial investigation by Gujarat Police claims that apart from this, 28 boxes of liquor had reached Bhavnagar from Ujjain. Of these, 15 have been recovered. 1000 villages have been alerted after the remaining 13 boxes were not found and locals claimed that liquor had reached many villages. Bhavnagar City Tehsildar and Executive Magistrate Kishan B. Chandalia said 10 people were discharged from the hospital on Thursday, while 18 others who reached the hospital were examined by doctors, but did not require admission. The medical team of the administration is verifying the information of the affected people. Blood samples have been sent to Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and other labs.
