There is a decline in the stock market today i.e. on 17th August. Sensex is trading at the level of 77,700 with a fall of more than 300 points. Nifty is also down by more than 50 points, it is trading at 24,300. There is heavy selling in IT, banking and FMCG shares. 2 IPOs opened from today. IPOs of Horizon Industrial Parks and Lalita Jewelery Mart have opened from today. Investors will be able to bid in these till August 19. Lalita Jewelery Mart wants to raise Rs 1,700 crore and Horizon Industrial Parks wants to raise Rs 2,600 crore through this IPO. There was a rise in Asian markets today. There was a decline in American markets on 14th August. Foreign investors sold shares worth 747 crores in 7 days. There was a decline in the market on Friday. Earlier on Friday i.e. 14th August, the market was falling. The Sensex fell 70 points and closed at 79,009. Nifty also fell by 29 points, it closed at the level of 24,366.
