Having gone past Wales in a close encounter, Harmanpreet Singh-led India will now take on a much tougher challenge in England when the two teams play their second league game of the FIH Hockey World Cup on Monday at the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen.

India started their campaign with a 3-1 victory over lower-ranked Wales on Saturday, August 15, with Harmanpreet converting two penalty corners and Sanjay adding another goal from a set piece.

England will present a more difficult examination after opening their campaign with a brilliant 4-1 victory over Pakistan.
