A 25-year-old Indian man from Haryana’s Kurukshetra was stabbed to death in Frankfurt, Germany, in an attack that involved three people. He had previously served in the French Army and moved to Germany to work in the delivery business.

According to the deceased’s father, Neeraj Sharma, the family last spoke to him on Monday. They had a usual conversation with him before he left for work. The family did not speak to him on Tuesday and received the news of his death the next morning, India Today reported.

Details on the circumstances surrounding his killing remain unclear. The motive behind the attack is yet to be ascertained.

Served In French Army, Relocated To Germany

Neeraj Sharma said that Vishu left for Portugal in November 2022. The family had sold a plot and spent around Rs 20 lakh to help him settle there. About a year later, he travelled to France, where he underwent six months of military training before being incorporated in the military, India Today reported.

Vishu moved to Germany a year later, where he began working in the delivery sector. His family said he had been making plans to return home around Diwali.

Back home, his sister was eagerly counting down the days until his arrival. For Raksha Bandhan, Vishu had promised to gift her a ring. His sudden death has left the family devastated. They are now planning to bring his mortal remains back to perform the last rites.
