An unidentified person allegedly hurled a petrol bomb at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office in Punjab’s Sangrur, police said on Monday. The attack, which left scorch marks on the building, prompted a police probe. However, no injuries were reported in the incident.
According to Punjab BJP General Secretary Anil Sarin, the attack occurred at around 3 am on Sunday when a glass bottle containing petrol was thrown at the party office. The bottle hit the exterior wall before bursting into flames, causing minor damage to the premises.
