The distance of 3271 kilometers between IAS officer Ravi Sihag and his wife IAS Ishita Rathi is now over. These two toppers of UPSC 2021 batch fell in love during training and got married in December 2025. Ishita’s All India rank was 8th and Ravi’s was 18th. After selection, both got different cadres. After marriage, Ravi’s cadre was changed and he became ADC in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. Whereas Ishita was a collector in Puducherry, due to which there was a distance of 3271 kilometers between the two. But now after a big order of the Home Ministry on 9 July 2026, Ishita Rathi has also been transferred from Puducherry to Jammu and Kashmir. This is the first time after marriage that this IAS couple will be posted together in the same state.
