The Government of India has relaunched the Air Suvidha portal for international travelers in a new form with the name ‘Air Suvidha 2.0’. Now it will be mandatory for every international passenger coming to India from any city in the world including UAE to fill this online health declaration form before boarding the flight.
This rule applies to all passengers, irrespective of whether they are citizens of any country or Indian citizens. Even travelers who have no previous history with affected countries are required to fill this form.
Aviation Ministry’s decision after WHO’s announcement
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the Ebola virus outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Uganda as a ‘Public Health Emergency of International Concern’ on 17 May 2026.
After this, India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation and Delhi International Airport Limited, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Health Services, launched Air Suvidha 2.0 on June 25.
This process is very short and can be completed at the time of boarding or web check-in. For foreign travelers, this is an additional step in addition to the e-Arrival Card, not a replacement for it.

Process to fill Air Suvidha 2.0 form
Step 1: Keep your important details handy
Before you start filling the form, keep your passport and flight or ticket details handy. You will need to enter your passport number, flight number and travel date.
Step 2: Go to the official portal
For this you will have to go to the official website of Air Suvidha.civilaviation.gov.in. If you wish, you can also directly reach the form by scanning the QR code given by the airline or at the check-in counter.
Step 3: Fill in travel details and verify
Fill all your personal and flight related information correctly on the portal. After this, an OTP will come on your mobile number, through which you will have to verify your number.
Step 4: Answer health declaration questions
You will have to provide information about your travel history for the last 21 days. It will ask if you have traveled to the DRC, Uganda or South Sudan, or have been exposed to Ebola or have symptoms. If not, select ‘none of the above’. This step is necessary for every traveller.
Step 5: Save and save the confirmation
After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation number and acknowledgment email. Take a screenshot or download it. When you land in India, you will have to show it at the immigration counter, so that you will not have to do any paperwork there.
If you develop any Ebola-related symptoms within 21 days of arriving in India, contact a doctor immediately. Provide complete information to health officials about your recent travel.
For more information or help, you can call the national helpline number 1075 of the health authorities of India or send an email to idsp-alert@nic.in.
