Senior actor Mukesh Khanna is furious over the offering scam in Ram temple. He says that those who steal in the temple are above thieves, dacoits or any dishonest person. He has appealed that devotees should stop making offerings in the temple. Mukesh Khanna wrote from the official Instagram account, ‘Do you know, your cash offering in temples does not reach God. It gets lost somewhere in between. There is looting. There is a saying, loot if you can. And there are plenty of looters here. I once said – it is full of thieves, dacoits and dishonest people, yet my country is great. But what name should I give to these looters of offerings? Thief, robber or dishonest? None of these. Because he is above all this. They are looting not only the devotees but also God. He further wrote, ‘I will only advise the devotees that – there will be no bamboo, no flute will be played, in the same way – there will be no offerings, there will be no scam. So stop making offerings. Especially money and jewellery. God will be happy. What is the whole matter? On June 7, a case of theft of offerings in Ram temple came to light.
