A video of the police encounter of the main accused of a heinous crime with an 11-year-old minor girl in Mehrauli area of South Delhi has surfaced. The investigating agencies analyzed the footage of hundreds of CCTV cameras installed in the area and surrounding roads. A suspect was identified on the basis of technical evidence and video clips. The involvement of the accused was revealed during custodial interrogation, after which he was formally arrested.

During interrogation, the accused confessed that he abducted the girl from the footpath, then took her to Gurugram and brutally murdered the girl there. The police is thoroughly investigating every aspect of this entire matter and is busy collecting strong evidence.
