There were talks between representatives of Iran and America for about 80 minutes in Switzerland on Sunday. According to Iranian state media, Iran said that further talks are possible only when the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah ends completely. At present it is not clear when the next meeting of the two sides will take place. Officials of Pakistan and Qatar played the role of mediator in the talks. BBC quoted the American official as saying that the talks remained stuck on three important issues. These included clarifying Iran’s different statements regarding the complete reopening of Hormuz, implementing ceasefire in Southern Lebanon and things related to the nuclear deal. Earlier, US President Donald Trump had warned Iran that if it did not stop Hezbollah in Lebanon, America could attack it again.
