Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal has spoken openly about his divorce from model Mehr Jesia and the difficult circumstances during that time. In the YouTube show ‘Cancelled to Crown’, Arjun told that the time of separation from Meher was the most difficult and lonely phase of his life.
During that time, on one hand his marriage was falling apart, while on the other hand his mother was fighting a battle with cancer. According to Arjun, during this time of trouble, model and fashion designer Gabriella Demetriades came into his life and supported him like a strong support.
Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jesia were married in 1998. The couple later divorced on 19 November 2019.
There was sadness of losing mother and friends. Arjun Rampal remembered his old days in the show. Arjun said, ‘I think I felt most lonely when I was not connected to myself. My marriage was not succeeding. It was sad to see because love doesn’t always stay the same.
Nothing is permanent in life. That was the darkest period of my life. At the same time, my mother was suffering from cancer and I was losing her. My father had died just three years before that. I was losing my friends and everything I had worked hard to get.

Arjun told that he considers himself lucky that he got a partner like Gabriella. He said, ‘Gabriella came into my life like a strong anchor. She herself was going through a difficult period. We were both in the middle of a storm and we had to face it together. It is good that we faced this difficult time together and after this happiness came back in life.
Divorced from Meher Jesia in 2019 Arjun Rampal married former Miss India and supermodel Mehr Jesia in 1998. Both of them met during their modeling days. He has two daughters Mahika and Myra from this marriage. After living together for almost two decades, both of them had announced their separation in the year 2018. The couple were legally divorced in November 2019.
