Dainik Bhaskar Speaking to PTI, the dancer said, “Hathras police has called me to the police station again on June 11. The police have assured that the accused will soon be identified and arrested. I will wait till June 15. If the accused is not arrested by then, I will commit suicide.”
He also said-
For me, respect comes first. I will not perform where I do not get respect.
The dancer had come to Hathras on June 3 to perform at a birthday celebration. It is alleged that during the program a young man reached the stage and molested her. Also touched the waist. After this the dancer slapped the young man.

I will not accept defeat and sit at home
Dancer said, “Hathras Police has released a video claiming the arrest of a person, but that person is associated with the organizing committee. I have no dispute with the people of the committee nor is there any fault of theirs. If appropriate action is not taken at the police station level, I will write a letter to the Home Minister. If necessary, I will also complain to the National Commission for Women and other related institutions. I am not going to sit at home accepting defeat.”
Action will be taken against those who make videos against
He told- After this controversy, the number of social media followers has also increased rapidly. Some people are calling it a publicity stunt, but I don’t care about such things. Some people are spreading rumors against me by making wrong videos and reels. I will take legal action against them also.
You have to think even before leaving the house
The dancer further said, “I am under a lot of stress after this incident. The videos being made against me on social media are also increasing my mental pressure. I am a stage artiste, but it does not mean that anyone should come on stage and be rude or try to molest. This incident has affected my self-confidence and many times I have to think even before leaving the house.”
If I don’t get respect, I won’t go to the program.
He said that he has many live shows scheduled in Rajasthan and Haryana. He also has a program in Rajasthan on 14th June. The dancer said, “People who like my shows will keep inviting me. But if someone thinks that because I am an artiste, my honor can be compromised, then going to such shows is not acceptable to me. For me, respect comes first. Where respect is not given, I will not go there.”
Artists should come forward and raise their voice
The dancer said that such incidents have happened with many stage artistes in the past also. Artists should raise their voice openly in such matters and fight for their respect. Haryanvi actress Pooja Hooda has supported him by calling him. Apart from this, we are getting cooperation and support from many people.
