Elon Musk claimed that children are exploited on a large scale on Instagram. In such a situation, Zuckerberg should be arrested.
Tesla chief Elon Musk has accused Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg of promoting child abuse on Instagram and demanded his arrest. He said on social media on Sunday that if the government considers the arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov to be correct, then how is Zuckerberg free?
Musk said that Instagram has a big problem of child abuse. He too has the same allegations as Durov. But till now Zuckerberg has not been arrested because he has bowed down to the government. He provides them with the necessary data through backdoor and censors freedom of speech.
Musk has started a campaign on social media for Durov’s release. He said that if everything continues in this manner, then by 2030, people will be hanged in Europe even for sharing memes.
Elon Musk said that if Durov’s arrest is correct then Zuckerberg should also be arrested.
Zuckerberg apologized in February
In February, Meta CEO apologized to the victim families in the US Parliament in connection with the child abuse case that Musk has mentioned against Zuckerberg. In fact, there have been many cases against Meta in the US.
Instagram is accused of promoting suicide and exploitation of children. Apart from this, many states have accused Facebook and Instagram of creating psychological manipulation. Because of this, children are getting addicted to Instagram and Facebook.
If Durov is convicted, he will face 20 years in prison
Earlier, Durov was arrested on Saturday at Bourget Airport outside Paris. He arrived there on his private jet. An arrest warrant had already been issued against Pavel.
Powell is accused of failing to moderate content, which allowed criminal activity to continue unhindered on the messaging app. Content moderation is the process of identifying and removing objectionable or harmful content from online platforms.
Durov will appear in court on several charges including terrorism, drugs, fraud, money laundering, child pornography. If Durov is found guilty, he can be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison.
Russian-born Durov founded Telegram in 2013 with his brother. Troubled by the government’s demand for data on the Russian public, he left the country in 2014. In the first few years after leaving Russia, Durov traveled to many countries. In 2017, he established his headquarters in Dubai.
Telegram is the most popular messaging app in Russia. Its creator Pavel Durov had to leave the country.

The Russian embassy in Paris has accused French authorities of not helping after Durov’s arrest. The Russian embassy said that Durov’s rights should be protected and he should have diplomatic access.
On the news of Durov’s arrest, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that he had wrongly thought that he would be welcomed abroad after fleeing Russia. He said that he had told Durov earlier that if he did not cooperate with the law, he would face problems in other countries as well.
