Within hours after CBSE opened the re-evaluation portal for class 12 results, students applying for verification have reported multiple login issues on the official portal, including errors such as “roll number not found” and “verification failed”.
Several students took to social media to highlight their concerns. One student wrote, “Mine it is showing roll no. not found but details and roll no. everything has been entered correctly. Please help me regarding this.”
Responding to the query, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) clarified that students will only be able to log in if they have already applied for obtaining scanned copies of their answer sheets. “If your roll number is not found, you will be able to log in only if you have already applied for the scanned copies. If no such application has been submitted, access to the login portal will not be available,” the board said.

Other students also flagged login failures. “Please check it. I tried the entire last day, it shows verification failed,” one student said, while another added, “Cannot login, have been trying from morning, shows verification failure, all credentials entered are correct.”
Addressing these concerns, CBSE advised students to carefully check their login details. “If verification has failed, kindly verify that the Aadhaar details entered and login credentials are correct and according to the details given. Also, ensure that password and Admit Card ID are the same,” the board said.
The board further added that in case issues persist despite entering correct details, students should share their Roll Number, Application ID, and Admit Card ID for further assistance. “The CBSE team will assist you. Thank you for your patience,” it said.

The clarification comes amid ongoing complaints of technical glitches on the re-evaluation portal, which opened recently for Class 12 students seeking verification of marks.
