This scene is of the time when the car of Aaban Ahmed, son of Atiq Ahmed met with an accident. Aaban died in this accident that happened on 6th August.
There were four more people in the car with Aaban, out of which three people were injured. Apart from Aaban, his friend Sonu was also among those who died. Its video has surfaced about 6 days after the accident. This video is recorded from the dashcam of a car.
It is seen in the video how Aaban’s car overtakes a vehicle and the next moment the car loses its balance. The car goes down the road and then hits the divider. In this case, if the police is to be believed, the driver Zaid told that he had dozed off.

On this matter, auto expert and founder of Cars Unlimited, Mustafa Singapurawala said that the video that has surfaced and as per the initial report, is a case of losing control at high speed. Many of its risk factors are visible together in the video.
He told, ‘The most likely main reason for this could be very high speed on the highway. Where the margin of error is very less. Police and eyewitnesses have said that the SUV was traveling at a very high speed (more than 120 kilometers per hour). Then the car suddenly went out of control and hit the divider.

‘When you are at high speed, even a small imperfection on the road surface can prove fatal. Losing attention even for a moment can cause an accident. As seen in the video and photos, the front part of the vehicle was completely shattered, which shows how severe the collision was.
Mustafa says it seems that road and weather conditions also increased the danger. Even a slight moisture on the road or a brick lying on the highway can cause a sudden steering turn just before a collision. A tall SUV, already at the limit of its grip, can quickly lose its balance if taken suddenly into a turn on a rough surface.

He told, ‘The environment inside the cabin can also be a cause of accident. Such as AC’s ‘recirculation mode’ being on for a long time, increase in CO₂ (carbon dioxide), heat and dehydration can also slow down the driver’s alertness and reaction time during long journeys. However, these are usually contributing factors to an accident, not its sole cause.
‘Investigators will also look into its mechanical aspects. Such as the condition of the tires and the possibility of a tire blowout, the condition of the steering and suspension, and data from the vehicle’s ‘event recorder’. With this, the exact speed of the vehicle, steering angle and use of brakes can be known in the last few seconds.
‘This accident may have been caused by a combination of factors, including a sudden and aggressive steering turn that the vehicle and road conditions could not handle.’
