UP News: A case of irregularities has come to light at a petrol pump located in Harsh Nagar, Kanpur. Vehicle owner Charan Singh says that the tank capacity of his car is 45 litres, but more than 52 liters of petrol was filled in it at the petrol pump. After the matter came to light, the administration has ordered an investigation.
According to Charan Singh, he had recently purchased a new car. There was already about 5 liters of petrol in the tank from the vehicle company. Despite this, a receipt was given to fill 52 liters of petrol at the petrol pump. He was surprised to see this, because the total tank capacity of the vehicle is stated to be 45 litres.
The vehicle owner says that if the capacity of the tank is 45 liters and there was already petrol in it, then it should not be possible to fill more than 52 liters of petrol. After this he complained to the concerned authorities and demanded investigation into the matter.
Charan Singh told that he asked the petrol pump owner to fill the car, the petrol pump owner first poured 41 liters of petrol and said that more petrol should be poured in two times, after which he added 11 liters more petrol. Then he called the man from the car company to the petrol pump, who told that the car was of 45 litres. It cannot hold that much petrol. After this, when a complaint was made to the petrol pump owner, he started giving his explanation. Watch VIDEO:-
