Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has given a statement on relations between India and Israel. He said that Israel faces criticism and opposition in many parts of the world, but in India there is tremendous support for Israel. Speaking at a conference held in the West Bank on Thursday, Netanyahu said that India holds a very special place in Israel’s global strategy. He described the relationship between India and Israel as unique and said that the people of India have a special affection for Israel. Netanyahu said, in many parts of the world we face attempts to destroy legitimacy, but this is not the case in India. He further said, there is a completely different kind of love for Israel in India, a very tremendous love. I think I have the most social media followers in India.
