After medical examination at the Mainit complex, Giribala Singh was brought to the CBI office in Bhopal.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested her mother-in-law, retired judge Giribala Singh, in the actress-model Twisha Sharma death case. He is accused of tampering with evidence. CBI has taken this action after three continuous days of interrogation, spot verification and examination of evidence.
Giribala will be produced in the court today. CBI had registered a formal FIR in this case on the night of 25 May. On May 26, the CBI team reached Giribala Singh’s house in Bagh Mughalia Extension for the first time. Here the officers interrogated for about two hours.
The team also obtained information about the circumstances of the night of Twisha Sharma’s death, the activities of the people present in the house and the action taken after the incident. CBI has already taken Twisha’s husband Samarth Singh on remand. Sources say that now Samarth and Giribala will be made to sit face to face and interrogated.
CBI is now using Tunnel View Investigation technique. The agency is creating a virtual recreation of Twisha’s last hours, so that every action before and after the incident can be understood minute-by-minute.

CBI had arrested Giribala Singh on Thursday after interrogating him for about 7 hours.
CBI is investigating digital evidence
On May 28, at 10:30 am, the CBI team once again reached Giribala Singh’s house. Continuous interrogation was done for more than 7 hours. In this way, in the question-answer session that lasted for about 10 hours over three days, the CBI tried to connect the links of the entire incident.
During spot verification, the investigating agency found such indications which strengthened the possibility of evidence tampering. Giribala Singh was arrested on this basis.
CBI is now investigating call detail records, tower location and digital evidence. The investigating agency is trying to find out who were contacted on the night of the incident and what changes were made at the spot after the death?

CBI had taken Giribala to Mainit complex, where his medical checkup was done.
Digital avatar of Twisha is being prepared
According to sources, CBI has prepared a digital track of Twisha’s movement inside the house. For this, CCTV footage, mobile phone data, Wi-Fi logs, call detail records and forensic mapping of rooms are being linked together. The agency is tracing Twisha’s last location, movement and contacts inside the three-storey house.
Twisha’s digital avatar is being prepared in the CBI investigation. Through this, an attempt will be made to understand in which part of the house she was before the incident, which people entered or went out of which rooms and at what time what activity took place?
The investigating agency is creating a simulated virtual walkthrough by matching the timestamps of the cameras, mobile activity and internet usage time. With this, the gaps, suspicious movements and contradictions in statements before and after the incident can be examined.
Agency will interrogate family members
Twisha Sharma died under suspicious circumstances at her in-laws’ house in Bhopal on the night of 12 May. The initial investigation was done by Bhopal Police but the family had raised questions on it. After the case gained momentum, it was handed over to the CBI.
After arresting Giribala, now the investigating agency can also interrogate other people associated with the family, domestic staff and people who came in contact after the incident.

Mother and son used to pressurize to get shares worth Rs 20 lakh in their name
Investigation has revealed that Twisha had purchased shares worth about Rs 20 lakh of several companies. Her husband Samarth and mother-in-law Giribala Singh used to put pressure on her to get these shares in her name. According to Twisha’s advocate Ankur Pandey, the value of these shares at the time of marriage was around Rs 20 lakh.
After marriage, Twisha went to Vietnam. After returning from there, Samarth and Giribala got information about the shares being transferred in his name. Investigation has also revealed that Twisha had told her mother on phone that Samarth and Giribala used to fight with her over the demand of dowry. Both of them used to torture her mentally even regarding the child.
