The most special thing about this buffalo is the tuft of golden hair on its head, which looks very similar to the hairstyle of US President Donald Trump. For this reason, people jokingly named him Donald Trump. This buffalo weighing about 700 kg suddenly became very famous on social media. Its pictures and videos started going viral rapidly. People started reaching the farm from far and wide just to see this unique buffalo. Children, family and social media influencers started taking photos and videos with him. This buffalo was sold for sacrifice before Eid. But as the popularity of this white buffalo increased, the attention of the government and administration also turned towards it. A huge crowd of people started gathering at the farm, due to which concerns about security increased. After this, the Bangladesh government decided at the last moment that this rare buffalo would not be allowed to be sacrificed. Bangladesh’s Home Ministry announced on Wednesday that the buffalo would be rescued and sent to the National Zoo in Dhaka. Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed ordered officials to keep the animal safe. The government also said that the person who had bought this buffalo for sacrifice would be refunded his entire money. Mohammad Ruhul Quddus, an officer of Dhaka’s Keraniganj Police Station, said that the Animal Husbandry Department had contacted the police and demanded to keep this buffalo safe. Officials believe that this buffalo is still young and can live for many years. Now this buffalo has been kept in Bangladesh National Zoo. The zoo administration has prepared a separate enclosure for him and special staff have also been deployed for his care. Zoo curator Atiqur Rahman said that the buffalo will currently be kept under observation and quarantine for two weeks. After this the common people will be able to see him in the zoo. White or albino buffaloes are considered extremely rare in Bangladesh. Mostly only black colored animals are seen there. In such a situation, the different color of this buffalo and the golden hair on its head became a big reason for attraction for the people.
