A person brought out the sacrificial goat from Sagar Park Housing Society in Ghatkopar West. BMC did not allow goat sacrifice inside the housing complex.
After the dispute over the shed built for goat sacrifice in the society of Mira Road area of Mumbai, a dispute broke out on the same issue in Ghatkopar area on Wednesday. Police reached Ghatkopar’s Sagar Park Housing Society to take out the goats. The residents here told that there are about 25 goats in this society, which have been brought for sacrifice without the permission of the Municipal Corporation (BMC). Additional police force has been called here.
Police has been deployed after a dispute over a shed built for goat sacrifice inside the society of Gokuldham area of Goregaon in Mumbai.
BJP leader Kirit Soumaiya has also reached Ghatkopar society. Two BMC vehicles have reached inside the society. Efforts are being made to evict the goats. At present, only one goat has been taken out from here. At the same time, the other side is not ready to remove the goats. In such a situation there is tension.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Minister of State Madhuri Misal wrote a letter to the Director General of Police, Police Commissioner and Pune Municipal Corporation Commissioner saying that such incidents are affecting the law and order and social environment of the state.
There was a dispute in the society of Mira Road.
The goats brought for sacrifice on Eid-ul-Azha at the Srishti Complex of Poonam Cluster Society on Mumbai’s Mira Road were taken out of the campus on Tuesday. The shed built here on Sunday for the sacrifice of goats was removed by the Municipal Corporation on Monday on the complaint of the Hindu side. After this the Muslim side started building the shed again.
The Hindu side opposed this. The matter worsened in the afternoon when the protesting people gathered at the gate of the society and raised slogans. The dispute escalated to a fight. Due to this a situation of tension was created there. Police arrived and pacified the matter.

After the protest, the goats were loaded into a vehicle and taken out of the society.
