Iran said- many citizens returned via Afghanistan amid war

Efforts for peace agreement between Iran and Arab countries
Saudi Arabia is trying for a new security agreement between the countries of the Middle East and Iran. According to the report, this initiative can be taken forward after the war between America, Israel and Iran ends.
The Financial Times report quoted an Arab diplomat as saying that this would be a non-aggression pact i.e. an agreement in which the countries involved would promise not to attack each other.
According to the report, this agreement could be on the lines of the Helsinki Agreement of 1975. That agreement was signed by America, European countries and the Soviet Union.
The diplomat said that how successful this agreement will be will depend on which countries participate in it.
He said that if Israel does not join it, then this agreement can have the opposite effect, because many countries also consider Israel as a major reason for conflict in the region.
However, he also said that Iran is not going to go anywhere from this region and that is why Saudi Arabia wants to take this agreement forward.
The report also said that some diplomats doubt whether the UAE will join the agreement or not. The UAE normalized relations with Israel under the Abraham Accords in 2020 and the two countries have close relations.
