US President Donald Trump has claimed that till now he has played a role in ending 9 international conflicts. He said that now his effort is to stop the Russia-Ukraine war and he wants to make this his 10th peace initiative. According to news agency ANI, before leaving for Virginia from the White House, Trump said that this war has become the most dangerous conflict after World War II and thousands of soldiers are being killed every month. Meanwhile, Trump has announced on social media a 3-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine from May 9 to 11. He told that during this period both the countries will not take any kind of military action. Besides, both sides will also exchange 1000-1000 prisoners. He claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky have agreed to the ceasefire on his appeal. He indicated that if the situation remains good then this temporary ceasefire can be extended further.
