Aman From 18 October 2025, he was posted as full-time secretary in Karkardooma Court.
Aman Kumar Sharma, a judicial officer posted at Karkardooma Lower Court in Delhi, died under suspicious circumstances. In a statement given to the police and media, one of his relatives said that he had committed suicide by hanging himself with his wife’s dupatta.
Aman, 30, worked as a full-time secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in the Karkardooma Court of the North-East District. Aman joined Delhi Judicial Service on 19 June 2021.
His wife Swati is also a judicial officer. The relative claims that there was a fierce fight between the husband and wife before his death. Aman’s wife had also threatened the father-in-law with police who came to intervene.
A day before his death, Aman had told his father on phone that he was very upset and it had become difficult for him to live. After this he sacrificed his life. Delhi Police has started investigation.
Family claims- had a fight with his wife a few hours ago
According to a relative of Judge Aman Kumar Sharma, Aman had called his father around 10 pm on Friday night. He told his father that he was very upset. After this the father left for Delhi from Alwar and reached Aman at around 12 o’clock in the night. There they came to know that Aman was having a fight with his wife.
Aman’s wife is also a judicial officer. Seeing the father, she threatened him and said that if he did not leave the room, she would call the police. There was another fight between the two on Saturday morning and the father went to another room.
After some time the noise stopped. When Aman was not seen, he called his son. The phone rang inside the bathroom. The door did not open. Later, guard Shankar broke the window and went inside, where Aman was found hanging.
Aman had given verdict in many cases
According to official records, Sharma joined Delhi Judicial Services on June 19, 2021. During his service, he heard cases as JMFC and civil judge. Sharma, a law graduate from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, is working as the full-time Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in the Karkardooma Court of North-East District from October 2025.
