Trump has just postponed his intention to put forward a proposal in Parliament to approve the Iran war. After the completion of 60 days of war, Trump was to propose to continue it further on May 1.
US Defense Minister Pete Hegseth said in Parliament on Thursday that the President does not need the approval of Parliament to continue the war for more than 60 days. He said that due to the ceasefire with Iran, this 60 day time limit has been stopped.
The US-Iran war stopped on April 7. This means that this war lasted for about 40 days. Hegseth also said that the biggest threat at this time is not Iran, but war opponents. Some of them are Democrats and some are Republicans.

Trump had informed the Parliament about the attack on Iran on March 1. In such a situation, the deadline of 60 days will be completed on May 1.

Report: War with Iran considered over
According to a Reuters report, a senior US official has said that the war with Iran, which started in February, is now considered ‘over’. The official said that both the countries had agreed on a ceasefire for two weeks on Tuesday, April 7, which was later extended.
