8 months after visiting Pakistan, the famous travel blogger of Jalandhar in Punjab, Amrik Singh, has been detained by the Punjab Police on the basis of Secret input of Intelligence Bureau (IB). He is being questioned.
.
YouTuber is alleged to have revealed some suspicious activities during his visit to Pakistan, whose potential relationships may be with the cross -border detective network. However, the police have officially not said anything about it.
The case is being linked to the alleged espionage network associated with Haryana’s YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra and Nasir Dhillon of Pakistan origin. According to sources, Amrik Singh was called by the police on Monday evening and called to the police station. Shortly after Amrik reached the police station, his phone was closed. Amrik’s phone started at around 8.30 pm and then closed.
After this, at around 10 pm on Monday, the IB team reached the US house again amidst police security and also questioned America’s wife Manpreet Kaur about the US’s YouTube channel and the visit of Pakistan in December 2024.
Amrik was brought to the Lohian Khas police station in Jalandhar for questioning. A digital device was captured by the IB team from America’s house. This was the same digital device in which Amrik shot his videos and did all the work related to the video.

Amrik went to Pakistan with wife in December 2024 In December 2024, Amrik Singh and his wife Manpreet Kaur went to Pakistan under religious tourism. There he shot videos at historical sites in Kartarpur Sahib, Nankana Sahib and Lahore. These videos received millions of views on Amrik’s channel.
However, the agencies suspect that during this visit they were in touch with some people who work for the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. According to IB sources, since this journey, agencies have been monitoring Amrik and their online activities.
ISI agents make videos with dhillon When America went to Pakistan, he made videos with Pakistani YouTuber and alleged ISI agent Nasir Dhillon. Nasir Dhillon came to the Pakistan border to take Amrik. According to the information, in December last year, Amrik and his wife Manpreet Kaur went to Pakistan via Attari border.

Investigation of other aspects including digital equipment, email According to sources associated with the IB and Jalandhar countryside police, the joint team of IB and Punjab Police is investigating the digital devices, email, chat and bank transactions of America. The investigation also shows whether the content of America was limited to religious places only or had such location and information that could be considered sensitive in terms of national security.
Case related to 2 YouTubers of Haryana and Punjab The case is similar to the case of travel blogger Jyoti Malhotra in Haryana. In May 2025, Jyoti was arrested by IB and Delhi Police on charges of spying for Pakistan. Investigation revealed that she was associated with Pakistan High Commission officials and ISI agents.
He is alleged to have involved Jyoti in spreading anti -India Narcover on social media and gathering sensitive information. Jasbir Singh of Punjab was also caught from Jyoti’s network. Jasbir confessed in the investigation that he had gone to Pakistan 3 times and met ISI officials.

ISI targeting social media influencer According to agencies, ISI has started targeting social media influencers, especially religious and travel content creators in recent years. Its purpose is to run a non -venture warfare in India, gather sensitive information and affect public opinion.
The cases of Jyoti Malhotra, Jasbir Singh and now Amrik Singh are being seen under a single pattern. All made religious places and cross -border travels part of their content and came into suspicious contacts in the meantime.
According to sources, in the coming days, Amrik Singh’s case will proceed with coordination between the Center and the security agencies of the state. If a direct link to the Pak detective network is proved, a case may be filed against them in other strict sections including UAPA.
