The wait is over for Auqib Nabi as he prepares to make his IPL debut for Delhi Capitals in their match against Chennai Super Kings at the Chepauk stadium on Saturday, April 11. The home side will welcome the return of South African star Dewald Brevis, who is set to play his first game of the season after recovering from injury.
Nabi was a standout performer in the Ranji Trophy this season, helping Jammu and Kashmir secure their maiden title. His all-round performances persuaded Delhi Capitals to invest Rs. 8.4 crore to acquire him at the IPL 2026 auction.
For the clash at Chepauk, Delhi Capitals have made two changes to their playing XI. Nabi replaces Vipraj Nigam, while Ashutosh Sharma comes in for Nitish Rana.
