Golf fans have been left stunned after Bryson DeChambeau pulled off a jaw-dropping trick shot at Augusta National Golf Club ahead of this week’s The Masters.

In a video shared by the tournament’s official social media accounts, the two-time US Open champion is seen skipping the ball across the water on the iconic par-3 16th hole, one of Augusta’s most unique and fan-favourite challenges.

At 170 yards, the 16th’s sloping green and water-guarded front often invites players to experiment during practice rounds.

And DeChambeau — who is no stranger to viral trick shots — made the best of it.

Building Momentum

Fresh off back-to-back wins on the LIV Golf circuit, the American is widely seen as one of the biggest threats this week.

This marks his 10th appearance at the Masters, and he’ll be looking to build on last year’s impressive top-five finish.

He narrowly missed out on a playoff, finishing just four shots behind Rory McIlroy, who went on to claim the title.

Eyes on the Green Jacket

DeChambeau is chasing a third major title and perhaps his first Green Jacket, while aiming to disrupt McIlroy’s bid to defend his crown.

The Northern Irishman, meanwhile, enters the week with some question marks after an injury-enforced withdrawal at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and a mixed showing at The Players.
