The Central Government has doubled the daily allocation (i.e. one day limit) of 5KG Free Trade LPG (FTL) cylinders for all states and union territories. The increased quota will be reserved especially for migrant labourers.
These small cylinders can be purchased from grocery stores and petrol pumps. The government has decided to provide additional supply of 5KG LPG cylinders on the basis of average sales of March 2-3, which will be different from the already fixed limit of 20%.
