In a post on X, Anupam mentioned that Samay visited his acting school, accompanied by his parents, Pushkar and Sweety. He highlighted the family’s roots as Kashmiri Pandits and expressed admiration for their hospitality.

At 28 years old, Samay’s timing and sense of humour stand out, the actor noted, adding, “I genuinely feel he is a genius…well almost. ” Their meeting included moments of light-heartedness as both attempted to crack jokes, each failing in turn, which Anupam found very human.
