Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch BJP’s election campaign in West Bengal with a rally in Cooch Behar on Sunday. He will address the ‘Bijoy Sankalp Sabha’ organized at Ras Mela Ground in the afternoon. In the rally, Modi will present the vision of ‘Developed Bengal’ and can corner the TMC government on issues like governance, law and order and corruption. This will be his first election rally in the state after the announcement of assembly elections. Modi last visited the state on March 14, where he addressed a rally at the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata and inaugurated development projects worth about Rs 18,680 crore. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin gave an open challenge to the NDA during an election rally on Saturday. He said that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan have the courage then they should announce the implementation of 3-language policy in the state during the election campaign.
