Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar 2 (Dhurandhar: The Revenge) has become the 6th highest-grossing Indian film worldwide.
The worldwide collection of the film has reached Rs 1,226.44 crore and has left behind KGF Chapter 2 (Rs 1,215 crore) and Jawan (Rs 1,160 crore).
According to trade website Sacknilk, the film collected a net collection of Rs 62.85 crore in India on the tenth day of its release (Saturday). The film has made a gross collection of Rs 1,226.44 crore worldwide.
The total net collection of Dhurandhar 2 in India became Rs 778.77 crore and gross collection became Rs 930.44 crore. Gross collection is the total revenue from tickets and net collection is the revenue after tax. The film earned Rs 296.00 crore in overseas, taking the worldwide gross to Rs 1,226.44 crore.
On the tenth day, the Hindi version of the film earned the highest amount of Rs 58.00 crore. At the same time, the collection was Rs 3.00 crore in Telugu, Rs 1.40 crore in Tamil, Rs 0.30 crore in Kannada and Rs 0.15 crore in Malayalam.
Dhurandhar got a great response
The first part of Dhurandhar performed brilliantly at the Indian and international box office and earned around Rs 1,307 crore worldwide.
The gross collection of the film in India was Rs 1,005.85 crore, while the net collection was approximately Rs 840 crore. At the same time, with the earning of Rs 894.49 crore, it became the highest grossing film in Hindi language.
The film received tremendous response in foreign markets also. It earned around Rs 299.5 crore in overseas. It also broke the record of Bahubali 2 by earning more than Rs 193.06 crore in America and Canada.
Interestingly, the film was a resounding success despite not being allowed to release in Gulf countries. It also became the highest grossing ‘A’ rated film of Indian cinema.
