Due to the ongoing war in West Asia, the crisis is deepening across the world. Panic is spreading among the people regarding this in the country also. However, the government has said that there is no need to worry and the situation is under control. Meanwhile, big news has come out. PM Modi is going to talk to the Chief Ministers on Friday evening regarding the ongoing war in West Asia (Middle East). This conversation of PM Modi with the Chief Ministers is going to happen through video conferencing at 6:30 pm.
Election-bound states will not be included in the talks
It has come to light that the preparations and plans of the states will be reviewed in this meeting. The objective of the meeting is to ensure mutual coordination in all efforts in the spirit of ‘Team India’. Due to implementation of the code of conduct, election-bound states will not be included in this meeting. A separate meeting with the Chief Secretaries of these states will be organized through the Cabinet Secretariat.
Let us tell you that recently PM Modi had first talked in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on the situation due to war. In his speech, the PM presented a roadmap for ‘Made in India’ ships and strengthening of storage to ensure the supply of oil and gas and directed the state governments to stop hoarding. The PM also gave the message of establishing peace through dialogue and diplomacy and assured adequate supply of fuel in the country..
Strict instructions were given against black marketeers
The Prime Minister had directed to adopt a strict stance against black marketeers and hoarders who are taking advantage of the current circumstances. He has assigned two major tasks to the state governments: first, to continuously monitor essential commodities and second, wherever complaints of hoarding are received, immediate action should be taken. He said that in times of crisis, protecting the general public from inflation should be the priority of the government.
Saying that the world will take a long time to compensate for the huge losses suffered in West Asia, the PM expressed confidence in the Indian economy. He said that our economic fundamentals are very strong and an ‘Inter-Ministerial Group’ has been formed to deal with the short-term and long-term effects of the war. The government is also promoting the use of PNG along with LPG, so that the supply of domestic gas remains smooth.
