The Bihar School Examination Board is offering free preparation for JEE and NEET aspirants. BSEB has launched a residential free coaching programme called Super 50 to prepare students for competitive exams such as JEE and NEET. Under this programme, 50 boys and 50 girls will be selected. The selected students will receive completely free accommodation, and the board will bear all expenses related to boarding, lodging, and education.
The application process began on March 23, and interested students can apply online until April 5. Residential coaching will be conducted only in Patna, while non-residential coaching will be available in Patna, Muzaffarpur, Chhapra, Darbhanga, Saharsa, Purnia, Bhagalpur, Gaya, and Munger.
Students enrolled at non-residential centres will also receive monthly educational assistance of Rs 1,000. Only students who will appear for the class 10 exam in 2026 and wish to take admission in class 11 in a Bihar Board-recognised school are eligible to apply. The selection process will include a written exam and an interview, followed by a merit list, counselling, and document verification. Interested students can apply online through the board’s official website.
List of States Offering Coaching To Engineering And Medical Aspirants
Below is a state-wise list of state governments offering free coaching to engineering and medical aspirants.
Delhi: The government provides free coaching for aspiring engineers and medical students preparing for the JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and NEET UG exams. This coaching is offered under the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana, which is part of the SC and ST welfare scheme. Government school students have exclusive access to free coaching for IIT JEE and AIIMS medical entrance exams.
Uttar Pradesh: The Abhyudaya Scheme offers free coaching to aspirants of IIT JEE Main and NEET UG. Students are selected for these coaching centres through an entrance examination. Registration for the state’s free engineering and medical entrance coaching generally begins in March.
Telangana: The Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TTWREIS), in collaboration with the Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS), provides free IIT JEE and NEET coaching to aspirants from the SC and ST categories. This coaching centre operates only in Hyderabad, and students are selected based on their performance in the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET).
West Bengal: The government provides free coaching for NEET and JEE Main exclusively to students belonging to the ST and SC communities. The application window for this coaching programme typically opens in March-April and is managed by the Department of Backward Class Welfare and Tribal Development of the West Bengal government.
Assam: The Assam government offers a free mentoring programme for JEE Main and NEET UG aspirants. To participate, students must apply and appear for a selection test. The application process is conducted offline and usually begins in June, with the selection test held in August.
