Enzo Fernández addresses Real Madrid links, insists he is focused on Chelsea as Liam Rosenior backs him to stay.

Star Argentina midfielder Enzo Fernández has said that he is currently focused only on Chelsea and what is left of the last few matches this season, adding that he would think of his future at the English club only after the FIFA World Cup, where he would be part of the defending champions.
Sections of the Spanish media appear convinced that Fernández is keen on a move to Real Madrid, not surprising, given the allure the club holds. In reality, a deal could be tough to pull off and with memories of the Eden Hazard transfer still lingering, caution would be understandable.
Of course, Fernández is now back on international duty with Argentina, gearing up for a pair of inconsequential friendlies, not ideal for a player who has not had a breather after two relentless years.
“No, honestly, nothing. Zero talks. Now we are focused on Chelsea and what is left of the last few games this season and then we will see after the World Cup,” Fernandez said while speaking to the media.
Chelsea FC head coach Liam Rosenior was asked about Fernández’s future and expressed full confidence that he will remain at the club, adding that the Argentine is committed.
“I think I had a great conversation with Enzo at length this morning [last Thursday] before training, not just about his comments, but also about how he was feeling, how, as a team, we can improve,” Rosenior said.
“He (Fernandez) is one of the captains of the club. What I would say is that he made it really, really clear to me how happy he is here at this club, how much he wants to win, how passionate he is for us to be successful,” Rosenior added.
Fabrizio Romano revealed on his YouTube channel that Fernández is in discussions to extend his contract with Chelsea FC.
